Fall Festivals and Events

  • Halloween Parades: All children are invited to attend the annual Halloween Parade sponsored by the Westport Parks and Recreation Department, the Westport Downtown Association, and Westport P.A.L. The parade begins on Main Street and continues right onto Avery Place, then left onto Myrtle Avenue. Recommended for children up to age 8. Children may trick or treat along Main Street and in Town Hall. The parade ends on the Veterans Green (across from Town Hall).  Parks and Recreation provides refreshments, a small gift for the children, along with entertainment.

  • Spooky Drive In Movie: Join the Fairfield Parks and Rec for a Drive-In Movie Night featuring Casper! Parking will begin at 6:00 PM and the movie starts at 7:00 PM. Limited Spaces available -Costumes and candy encouraged! This event is FREE

  • Halloween on the Green: Located @ Museum Commons in Fairfield is back this year! Come wearing your best costume for a day filled with trick-or-treating, giveaways, displays at the historic buildings, food vendors, a bounce house, and much more.

Farmers Markets

  • Greenfield Hills Farmers Market: Greenfield Hill Farmers Market is open to the public through October 26th. With local vendors offering produce, eggs, organic hydroponic lettuce and herbs, floral arrangements, fresh cut flowers, artisan baked breads and cakes, infused flavored olive oil products, hot pepper products and more.

  • Westport Farmers Market: The Westport Farmers' Market is committed to providing fresh, local, healthy and seasonal food and will be open until November 7th. They aspire to create a fun, safe and healthy community environment for education and socialization. Their mission is to increase awareness, knowledge and support for local producers focused on sustainable and healthy growing practices.
